This book comprehensively examines the fundamental role played by meta- heuristic algorithms in applications related to Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action. Today, energy efficiency, reduction of carbon footprints, environmental management, and sustainable production processes have become complex multi-criteria decision-making problems. In this context, meta-heuristic algorithms provide powerful tools for solving these problems, thanks to their flexible structures and high solution capabilities.
