Social psychology is the scientific study of people’s behaviors, thoughts, feelings under the influence of others’ real, implied, or imagined presence (Allport, 1954). We are going to learn the basic findings of social psychological theories and discuss issues regarding the construct of self, morality, prejudice, friendship, helping, violence, and others.
